Send FlowersFARMER CITY - Nancy Elaine McLaughlin, 90, of Farmer City passed away Monday (Aug. 25, 2025) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 5, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City. The funeral service will follow at noon, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City.
Memorial donations may be made to the Farmer City United Methodist Church.
Nancy was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Warsaw, Ill., to Truman and Georgia Evelyn (Knight) Phillips. She married William "Bill" McLaughlin on Aug. 14, 1955. He passed away in 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Nappe; grandchildren, Chase (Chelsea) Nappe and Gina (Jack) Kneller; great-grandchildren, Jack, Penelope and Everett Kneller and Barrett and Bryant Nappe; and sisters, Elsie Boyer, Patricia (Bill) Mitze and Wilma Emmerson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Richard "Dick" Phillips and Robert "Bob" Phillips.
Nancy was a member of the Farmer City United Methodist Church. She retired from Farmer City State Bank after around 34 years. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
