Rebecca Welch Obituary
CHAMPAIGN - Rebecca Ann Welch, 62, was born on July 19, 1960, to Richard and Shirley Welch, in Mattoon. She died Monday (April 10, 2023) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Becky is survived by her two children, Zachary Miller (39) and Lindsey Miller (37), and grandchild, Nivea Jones (5), who were her whole world.
She studied nursing at Lakeland College but went on to work in finance for many years. You can say she was a perfectionist and was the absolute best at anything she did. Becky truly touched everyone she met with her friendly and caring personality and willingness to help anyone. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchild and cared for her parents before they passed. Becky was an extraordinary person who will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
The visitation for Becky will be held at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy, on April 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. A graveside service will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens, 4112 W. Bloomington Road, Champaign.
Anyone who wishes to honor Becky is requested to make contributions to her surviving children and grandchild. Condolences may be offered at morganmemorialhome.com.
