Rockwell Devine Obituary

MAHOMET - With broken hearts, we share that our precious baby boy, Rockwell "Rocky" Gene Devine, passed peacefully in his sleep, at the side of his parents, who loved him endlessly, on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025.

Rocky was born on Aug. 22, 2025, at 8:54 p.m. At 6 pounds and 6 oounces, he was healthy, had blonde hair like his dad, dark blue eyes and the softest skin. To have met him was to know love and happiness.

Though his time with us was brief, Rocky filled every moment with love and joy. He brought immeasurable happiness to his family and knew nothing but love.

Rocky will be forever remembered and loved evermore by his loving parents, Nathan and Ashley Devine; big brother, Rowan Devine; grandparents, Tom and Pat Dunn, Paul and Sharon Devine and Wilbur (Junior) and Heather Barnes; and many other family and friends who were touched by his sweet smirk and soul.

Rocky will be held in our hearts and will be loved forever.

Please keep his family in your thoughts as they pass through this unimaginably hard journey of loss of their precious child.

A private family service will be held. Condolences may be offered at owensfuneralhomes.com.
