I had the honor of meeting Ruth and her husband last spring. My mother and Ruth have been friends since attending Urbana Highschool. Mother and my older sister Lisa traveled here last spring to see family and Ruth! We enjoyed visiting watching those Highschool buddies reminiscing and enjoying each others company. Mother hadn´t been able to reach Ruth recently and is so very saddened she´s passed. My mother Carolyn will forever miss her very special friend. She was so grateful for her time with Ruth.
We send our deepest condolences to her family.

My Mom, Carolyn, was a very close friend of Ruths. They had been friends since High School, and had kept in touch every since then. My Mom would often be on the phone just giggling away and talking about the old days and their new favorite books that were still warm from reading. I never met Ruth, but feel like I know her a little bit from all the fun stories. I will miss overhearing their chats and laughter. God Bless you Ruth and your family.

I got to meet Ruth last year. I was taking my mom on a trip to see family and friends. Ruth was one of my mom's very best friends from high school and they kept in touch all those years. So glad we made the trip and they had one more special visit. : )
