Sarah Whicker Obituary

SEATTLE, Wash. - Sarah Margaret Whicker, beloved daughter and sister passed away on April 4, 2020.

She was born in Urbana, on Jan. 19, 1999. She lived in Seattle, Wash.

She is survived by her parents, Maggie and Greg Whicker and her older sister Rosie Whicker in Seattle. She also has two older siblings, Hannah (Whicker) Johnstone of Peoria; and Jordan Whicker, of Minneapolis, Minn.

Sarah attended Yankee Ridge Elementary and Urbana Middle School. After moving to Seattle, she attended Nova H.S, Middle College and Shoreline Community College. Sarah's parents and sister are "coming home to Illinois" for the first time since her passing and post-pandemic to be with friends and family.

A memorial service is planned for Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at Urbana Crystal Lake Park Lake House. Potluck dinner 5:30 to 7 p.m. Celebration of life service 7 to 8 p.m. with Deb Hart as offficiant. Condolences and memories can be shared on the Evergreen Washelli Memorial Website.
