OAKWOOD – Steven Vernon Beauvois, 44, of Oakwood, died 8:02 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2008.
Per Stevens wishes he will be cremated with no services. Burial of ashes will be at a later date.
Steven was born May 24, 1964, in Danville, the son of Donald and Leona Woodard Beauvois Sr. He graduated from Georgetown High School in 1982. He later attended Danville Area Community College for three years, receiving two associate degrees.
He worked as a part-time police officer for Belgium, and Fithian, Ill. He also worked for the Champaign Housing in the maintenance department. Steven was a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ, he loved working on computers, doing small engine repair, and going paint balling.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Leona Woodard Beauvois of Georgetown, Ill.; one brother Don Beauvois (Kay) Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Steven will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
