RANTOUL - Troy R. Geisinger, 61, of Rantoul passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born Nov. 8, 1961, in Reno, Nev., a son of Theodore and Lillian Geisinger.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Geisinger of Rantoul; a brother, Todd Geisinger of Ludlow; and a son, Jason Ferguson of Prospect, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Terry.
Troy was a 1979 graduate of Rantoul Township High School. He worked at Caradco for many years and later in janitorial services at the University of Illinois.
He loved going to concerts and riding his motorcycle, even hitting Bike Week. He had many friends and lived to help a brother out!
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul. The Rev. Dan DeWitt will officiate. He will be buried in Ludlow Cemetery following the ceremony. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at Lux Memorial Chapel.
