We are very late in reading our emails & it saddens us so much to read of Vanessa's death. We didn't see Vanessa often, esp after you moved to MO, but, when we did it was always a joy to visit with her. She & I could talk & talk non-stop. Jim, Mike & I send you our sincerest condolences. It makes me sad to know that those conversations, laughs and RN sharing w her are over for now on this side on heaven. Vanessa, may you rest in sweet peace. Love, Olivia

I worked with Vanessa, loved working with her, and her mom was a member of group of retired OB nurses. I remember how compassionate she was to her mom when her mom had difficulty swallowing. We all said Vanessa could stay and eat with us, but she said no.

Man, such a loss. I hold Nurses in very high esteem, they are angels .
If I´d ever needed medical attention, I´d want Vanessa coming thru the door. For sure I´d listen, follow her instructions, and laugh till it hurt. Good lord she had that gift.
