I haven't found the words to express how I feel about my fathers passing, he taught me a lot of things in his short time here. I will always remember the things we did together, Camping, fishing, working on cars, traveling the United States as a family and showing us what this world is all about. My father will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends and I hope to someday join him again on the other side. I love you dad. God Bless.

I lived next door to the Kenyon's on State Road in Champion but moved away in 1951. I started Champion school 1st grade, Douglas was a year behind me. He and his Mom came with my Mom and I to school. I remember crying because I had to stay in school and Douglas cried because he had to leave.
Very sorry for you loss.; Larry Urban Milford CT

I have known the Kenyon family for over 25 years and have fond memories of Doug from over the years. Watching Brian be an amazing father to his two children is a testament to what a fine job Doug did with his kids. He will be greatly missed by family and friends from Ohio to South Carolina.

I grew up with Brian and the Kenyon family. I have a lot of Great Memories of time spent with them. Doug and Ilse were like second parents to me.... they even included me on family trips. I recall learing how to water ski, my first Nascar race and camping. Thanks Doug....you will be missed. My prayers go out to the whole family.

Doug was a great man with great stories that I loved to hear. He always made me laugh and was a great man. I enjoyed my time working with him and the Century Family. Doug was family to me as I spent more time at work than anywhere else.

We love you doug and my condolence goes out to your family, friends and loved ones.

I've had the privilege of working with Doug for 4 years here at Century Fasteners. He was a fascinating person. I truly enjoyed listening to him and I was so intrigued by his life that I once told him that when I grow up I want to be just like him. There wasn't a subject that I presented that he couldn't add knowledge too. I will deeply miss him. He was a one of a kind person and it was such a blessing to have known him.Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.I pray healing for the family in their time of grief.

Though I did not know Doug personally, I do know his two sons Brian and Jeff and can say that he must have been a great Father if they are an indicator of who he was as a man.

My condolences to the family I do not know, my prayers are with you and he in heaven.

I first met Doug while he was employed at the Rotor Tool Company in Cleveland Ohio. We worked closely together for a few years when that facility merged its operations into the Cooper Power Tools plant in Lexington. He was a friend and mentor, and will surely be missed. My heart go out to the family during this difficult time. May the peace that comes from knowing God be with each of you.
