Emily Pierce Obituary
Emily was born May 30, 1918, in Cleveland.
Emily was president of Isabella Guild of the Immaculata Council Knights of Columbus and president of Slovenian Club in Geauga County.
Survivors are her sons, John "Greg" (Tresa) of California, Fred "Ricky" (Sharyn) of Michigan and Dennis (Donna) of Delaware; grandchildren, Eric, David (Carol), Tammy, Daniel, Eric (Marci), Wesley Ball and Kevin Ball; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Cody, Kaylee, Kyle, Camden, Austin, Madison and Bridgette; and sisters, Frances Mandusky of New Jersey and Mary Leiden of Kirtland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J.; sister, Molly Stusek; and brother, Max Nemec.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, at St. Anselm Church, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. (Please meet at the church). Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.

Dear Greg, Rick & Dennis...I remember "Aunt" Em and "Uncle" John being such a big part of my childhood. The picnics & hayrides with Clyde at the AMS, the many fish fries at Saddle Bar, the many Knights functions. Your Mom (and Dad) were very special to me. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

I will miss this sweet lady who was like a mother to me. Will remember all the memories we shared, garage shopping, bowling together etc. Her trip down to SC with Kathy to share a week of fun. My deepest sympathy to the whole family. She will be missed greatly.
