Ethel Campbell Obituary

Ethel Fay Campbell, age 99, of Madison, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at County Club Retirement Center in Ashtabula.She was born December 15, 1921 in Auxier, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Edward and Lorraine (Brown) Moore. Ethel was one of eleven children, all of which preceded her in death.Ethel was a graduate of Auxier High School, and on June 10, 1950 she married James A. Campbell, Sr. and together they shared over 46 years of love and memories before his death in February 1997. She was an active member of Perry Christian Church and above all else loved spending time with her family.Survivors include her children, James (Maryellen) Campbell of Madison, OH and Shelly (George) Csepegi of Austinburg, OH; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.Preceding her in death were her husband, James A. Campbell, Sr.; parents, Edward and Lorraine (Brown) Moore; 10 brothers and sisters.A private family service will be held with burial to follow in Madison Memorial Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Perry Christian Church, 3270 Call Rd, Perry, OH 44081 or to Incare Ohio Hospice, 600 East Smith Rd, Medina, OH 44256.The family would like to extend a sincere “Thank You” to the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice and Incare Ohio Hospice for the gentle care and support given to Ethel and her family during her final journey.Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services assisted the family with arrangements.www.LakeErieCrematory.com
