Time is not a friend. This Jerry and I agreed on . It goes all to quickly. He was good in a simple and pure way.

I taught English with Jerry in China. We shared ideas and pizza, and combined classes, sometimes simultaneously. I helped Jerry buy a camera, after which he became an enthusiastic paparazzi and was always keen to share his latest photos. He had a knack for portraiture. Jerry had a razor sharp wit and an empathetic ear. He spoke of his family with pride and affection. My thoughts are with them at this time.

Jerry will be missed greatly. I too knew him online as Dark Clarity. He was a larger than life kind of guy. So easy to talk to and great to have a laugh with. Always there to make us smile. He was committed and never let us down and always reminded us not to take things too seriously. A wonderful friend. Will be thinking about his family at this time. We will all miss you, Jerry.

A kind, caring man with a marvelous sense of humor, he is also one whom i will miss. Jerry was always more interested in helping others than talking about himself. My deepest sympathies for his family, whom he spoke of often, and prayers for peace for all who are missing him.

I only knew Jerry as an online friend. I found him to be a brilliant and funny man with a good eye for photography and a wonderful curiosity for life.
I sincerely wish him the best on his new journey. I will miss him.

I met Jerry, aka Dark Clarity, playing an online game a few years ago. While I never got to meet him in person he always tried to brighten ones day. He seemed to me to be a very cheerful and happy person. He loved sharing his pictures of China, and often spoke of the great things he has seen, and the people that he met along his way there. My condolences to his family, but I just wanted you to know that there are those of us who considered him a true friend even though we never met face to face. He will be missed.
