Joseph Nicastro Obituary
Mr. Nicastro was born Dec. 4, 1930, in Cleveland, to the late Gitono Nicastro and Polly (Fontana) Nicastro and was a United States Air Force Korean War veteran.
He married Nancy Ruth Weinstein Dec. 8, 1956, in Maple Heights. She preceded in death in June 19, 1989.
Joe was a coordinator and employed with E.F. Houserman of Cleveland for about 37 years.
Survivors are his son, Ben Nicastro of Middlefield; daughters, Naomi Nicastro of Fort Wayne, Ind., Judy Nicastro of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Erica and Norris McClure of Norton; three grandchildren; and brothers, John Nicastro of Independence and Hector Nicastro of Chester Township.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Josephine Nicastro and Sue Crawford.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Horizon Christian Assembly, 14920 White Road, Burton.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at Horizon Christian Assembly. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.

Dear Cousin Joe will be forever remembered as: the handsome Korean War soldier his Aunt Ena lovingly baked, packed and sent cookies to while in Korea; the young man home from War who while sledding down the "big hill" with this cousin noticed a pretty girl living on Maple Avenue at the bottom of "the hill". His Aunt Ena made the introduction to the lovely Nancy Weinstein and the rest is history! Rest in peace, Joe.
