Mary F. Morrison

1938 - 2011

Mary F. Morrison, age 72, of Mesopotamia Township, passed away Wednesday evening, May 18, 2011, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
She was born Oct. 28, 1938, in Avella, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Wagner) Brozstek.
After she graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1956, she married Milton E. Morrison Sept. 8, 1956. She was a homemaker and a resident of the area since 1955.
Mary was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 7200 in West Farmington, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Mesopotamia Volunteer Fire Department, and St. Lucy's Mission in Middlefield. Her hobbies included shopping, garage sales, baking pumpkin rolls and zucchini bread. She enjoyed her flowers and house plants, and especially loved being with her granddaughters. She will be missed dearly by her friends and her loving family.
Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Milton; son, Larry (Shari) Morrison of Newbury; two daughters, Cindy Morrison of Rocky Mount, Va., and Michele (Brett) Dryden of Stow; six loving granddaughters, Jeannie, Jennifer, Kassy, Amanda, Becky and Jennifer W.; sister, Frances LaBella of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sister-in-law, Kay Brozstek of Wellsburg, W.Va.; special niece, Valerie LaBella; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Brozstek; and brothers, John, Edward and Joey Brozstek.
A celebration of life will be held noon Monday, May 23, 2011, at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 West High St. (Route 87), Middlefield.
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. Monday until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Mesopotamia. Pastor Dan Jenkins and Rev. Dr. Joe Barth will officiate.
