Pearl Huff Obituary

Private family graveside services will be held for Pearl C. Huff, 94, at Willoughby Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Pearl passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, and had been a resident of Heartland for the past two years. She had been a Lake County resident for more than 50 years.
She was born to Harvey C. and Mary Alice (Grimm) Board in Letart, W.Va.
Pearl retired from Crescent Metal Products at the age of 62, but remained active at a number of other endeavors until her move to Heartland of Mentor.
She was a member of the JFK Senior Center and was active with the women's group at Willoughby Methodist Church.
Survivors are her son, James H. (Sandy) Tuttle of Concord Township; grandson, James (Sandy) Tuttle of Lodi; granddaughter, Tracy (Ron) Lantz of Ashland; great-grandchildren, Airman Zach (Kelly) Pruner of North Carolina, Shelby Pruner and Cassie Lantz of Ashland; daughter, Helen Sferra of Mentor; grandson, Bruce (Pamela) Gedeon of Mentor; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael, Elizabeth and Sara Gedeon and Donnie Moore; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Alice Board; brother, Carl V. Board; sister, Frieda (Gerald) Bailey; grandsons, Kenneth B. and David D. Gedeon; and infant great-grandson, Kenneth Gedeon; and great-granddaughter, Monica L. Gedeon.
Arrangements are entrusted to Blessing Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Mentor.

I'm so sorry to hear of Pearl's passing. She was such a warm and wonderful woman and a great room mate for my mother, Pat. She will be missed.
