Richard Gezann Obituary

Richard A. Gezann, age 53, passed away Oct. 22, 2021 suddenly in a house fire alongside the family dog, Malley.Rich was born June 15, 1968 in Cleveland. Rich was employed by the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District.Rich was a proud graduate of Euclid High School in 1986 and Miami University in 1990. Rich was an avid lover of music, concerts, and all Cleveland sports teams.Rich was the loving father of Kayla and Ryan; beloved son of Al and Laura Gezann; dear brother of Robert Gezann (fiancé Janice Kozlowski); uncle of Brady; former husband of Amy.The family will receive friends Saturday Oct. 30 from 1-4 PM with a sharing of memories starting at 3:15 PM at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby.In lieu of flowers, contributions to Kayla and Ryan would be appreciated.
