Robert Dean "Bob" Ishee

1938 - 2022

ROBERT “BOB” DEAN ISHEE, Age 83, Of Chardon passed away peacefully on January 9, 2022. Born on November 13, 1938, to Walter and Ruth (nee: Eiler) Ishee in Chardon, Ohio. He has been a resident of Chardon for his entire life. Robert was a teacher for most of his career at West Geauga and retired in 1995. He was very interested in sports and played basketball, baseball, and golf in high school. He graduated from Ohio State in 1960 and loved attending the Buckeyes football games. Robert enjoyed coaching his children and his teams at school in many sports. He was very active in Jaycees, CHS alumni, OSU alumni club, Chardon Methodist Youth Group, and Methodist Men’s Club. Along with his wife, he was an avid dealer in antiques. He survived by his children, Margaret Clark and Michael Ishee; Grandsons, Gavin and Jacob Clark; Brother, Roger (Sharon) Ishee and former Son-in-law, Daniel Clark, and his special friend, Karen Coulter. Lastly, many Keyes family members. He is preceded by his loving wife, Marilyn, his brother, Rollin (Bea) Ishee, and his brother and sister-in-laws, Robert Keyes, Susan Keyes, Janet Keyes, and Paul DeLaat. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mapleview Country Villa and Continuum Care Hospice for their compassionate care during his final months.
