Ruth and I worked at Erie Shores Golf Course in the grounds department. She was great fun and really enjoyed doing that kind of work. It got her outdoors on a regular basis and she was able to see many of her Madison friends while out on the golf course. Many of them were surprised to see her out there because they knew she was not a golfer herself. She fit right in with the rest of the grounds crew. Her smile and friendly ways made her a great ambassador for the park system and Erie Shores.
