Sandra M. Elersic

Sandra M. Elersic (nee: Caranci), age 72, passed away Feb. 14, 2023. Born April 24, 1950, in Painesville to Joseph & Dorothy (nee: Mainello) Caranci. Sandy graduated from Harvey High School Class of 1968. She had an all-girls band in the late 1960's called the "Exceptions". She umpired for Painesville & Painesville Twp. baseball and worked as an EMT and STNA. Sandy loved the trip to Las Vegas that "We Girls" took. Survivors include her son Michael Elersic of Las Vegas; brother Joseph "Joey" (Kathy) Caranci of Painesville; nieces Krystal & Tara Caranci along with extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents: Pietro & Rose Marie Caranci & Christopher (Cristy) & Frances Maniello. A very special thank you to all the staff and personnel at Pine Grove Healthcare who were always so kind and caring to Sandy as she resided there for the past 10 years. She loved you all. A memorial gathering will be held on April 24, 2023, from 2pm at Pine Grove Healthcare, 840 Sherman Street, Geneva, OH. Services entrusted to the Potti & Marc F.
