Theresa Chiancone Obituary
Theresa was born on September 3, 1917, in Montecalvo, Italy and passed away December 14, 2015. At the age of 9, Theresa came to the U.S. and had lived in the South Euclid area for the past 80 years. Theresa graduated from Mayfield High School and was the Owner/Operator of Theresa's Flowers for 60 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing keno and the slots, and traveling to Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach. Theresa was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be missed for her creative, artistic, hard-working, determined and loving nature.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 18, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 1 p.m. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Theresa at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid, 4600 Mayfield Rd. (just east of Green Rd.) on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Contributions may be made in Theresa's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
