William Clements Obituary

William "W.C." Clements, 36, of Concord Twp. died unexpectedly on February 12, 2023 at his home. He was born February 2, 1987 in Euclid.W.C. worked as a therapist at Crossroads in Mentor and was a graduate of Lake Catholic High School, class of 2005, and a graduate of the University of Dayton, class of 2010, where he played football at both schools. He received his master's degree from Cleveland State University. His hobbies were listening to music, spending time with his friends, working out, collecting one of a kind sneakers that he loved to wear and show to all who knew and loved him. He truly enjoyed living in Cleveland and watching his hometown sports teams.An avid movie watcher, W.C. was knowledgeable on all things related to a plethora of movies that he had watched over the years. Affectionately known as "Dub McClane," he and his mother always watched Die Hard movies during the holidays.He loved his family and friends and had many friends as family. He would light up a room with his big personality. He had a huge heart and was always there for anyone he knew. Survivors include his mother, Linda Clements; his cat, Bam Bam; and his cousins, Virginia (Eugene) Distler, Don Distler, Susan (Chuck) Steadman, Laurie (Mark) Duquette, and Sharon (Bob) Kukula. He is also survived by Christine (John) Kelly, Zach and Allyson Kelly, Danielle (Daniel) Luttrull, Arthur, James, Molly, Gus, and Esther Luttrull; Charlie (Kelsey) Steadman, Michael, Noelle, and Tyler Duquette, Brad (Hannah) and Jenny Kukula; and his aunts and their families, Becky (Paul) Smith, Karla Goins, Courtney Dewitt, Chad Sigler, and Brian Reasoner.He was preceded in death by his father, Randall Clements; maternal grandparents, William and Jean Banko; paternal grandparents, Charles and Jane Clements; and many aunts, uncles and other family members. The family will receive friends to celebrate W.C.'s life from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Friends and family are asked to wear their favorite music group t-shirt and blazer to honor W.C. A funeral mass in his memory will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp., OH 44060 (Please meet at the church.)W.C. loved animals and was especially close to Bam Bam, a kitten he recently rescued. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in W.C.'s memory to the Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Mentor, OH 44060. Please offer condolences at www.brunners.com.

Best counselor I have ever had. He was supposed to show me his new jordans on Tuesday, and I was going to wear my greatful dead hoodie. I have been his client for 2 years. I am sending major condolences and prayers to his family and Bambam for the loss of an amazing person.
