I'm a little late signing the book. Als been on my mind the last few days so I figure this is something I need to do.
Al and my dad were cousins. Al was one the nicest guys I've ever met. Whenever I'd visit their home or Auction house they always greeted me with lots of hugs. He was never at a loss to give me advice or tell me an old story about the family. By far, Al was one of the nicest , genuine man I've ever met. His love for Cherie and his family was beautiful . The world needs more Al's. I'm truly blessed to have had Al a part of my life.
R.I.P. Al , you'll be missed by so many.
Love, Laura

Al Trachtman built an enduring legacy of love. He served his family, his community and his maker through the openness of his heart and the work of his hands. He welcomed each of us with thoughtfulness and joy. As a boy growing up in the neighborhood (with a nod to JIm below), I found the Trachtman home to be a second home for me. In later life, I was thankful to experience Al's welcome as we returned from overseas and sought out his encouraging look. Our love to the family and our thanks to the Lord for Al.

A long time ago, in the late 60s, (a teenager in Ormond Beach), I was struggling to break out of a tough economic patch. Hardly had decent clothes. The Trachtmans were mighty good to me. Al gave me many of his old suits. Fine suits. I wore them to good use driving for a real estate company near my college in North Carolina. Made just enough to make ends meet. And more. Every time you walked into their house, they made you feel whole and welcome. The world needs more Trachtmans. Jim East 706 587 9428 [email protected]
