ALLEN SIEL Obituary

Allen Harold Siel passed away Monday July 23, 2012. He was 86. Mr. Siel was born November 15, 1925 in Worcester, MA. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and served six years in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. Siel operated his own business in Ayer, MA for many years and eventually sold it. He then became a hearing aid specialist, continuing to help and serve others. He was active in the Rotary Club, and was involved with several philanthropic organizations which included helping returned prisoners of war. He and his wife also hosted several foreign exchange students. In 1988 Mr. Siel moved to Ormond Beach and eventually retired and moved to Solivita in Poinciana FL. He continued to enjoy playing tennis and shuffleboard and was known for his mastery in raising orchids. He is survived by his daughter Sherry Armstrong, Ormond Beach; and a sister, Arline Shapiro of Newport Beach, CA. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. today (Thursday) at Mount Sinai Cemetery.
