Terry, Susan, and Laura. I am so sorry to learn of Chad's passing. I remember him as a great kid with a quick smile, and I remember the love and pride you all had for Chad. I know of no words with which to bandage your wound. We mourn his passing and are so very sorry for your loss and pain.

I remember Chad always on his skateboard when we were kids, Teasing Laura and doing things that big brothers do to annoy their sister :)

I hope through this you are able to find joy in the memories he has given you and solace in knowing how loved he was.

May it comfort you to know that God is with you during this difficult time and that there are friends that also share your sorrow and your pain. I find Psalm 121 to be a very encouraging scriptural passage. May it help you to cope and endure.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your very loved son. It seems he was an incredible man with many talents and great sense of humor. I have only one child, a son also, who is wheel chair bound with muscular dystrophy and is leaving me a little every day. None of us can imagine the pain of losing a child and my heart goes out to you and your family.

Chad had many talents. He was probably the greatest chef I knew. Ever since I can remember he always wanted to experiment and get things just so, pushing his own boundaries in the kitchen. Creating the most intricate meals, all the while making it look like child's play…
Knew the latest sports stats and new music that was about to drop – well, except for country! And forget about trying to compete with him when trading quips. He somehow could always top you with a better comeback and leave you speechless. Then he'd get that snickering look and laugh...
Chad certainly did have a knack for organizing and planning the firework show like a maestro. There were times I would be so frightened, yet exhilarated watching him set up the display and lighting them off with his partners in crime. You'd get a kick just by watching the joy that brought, along with the biggest smiles to his face...
I loved the way he'd tell you what he thought with no apologies. Gave it to you straight and blunt and look you square in the eye. He thought what he thought and that was that. A stubborn streak like no one's business. Very few people can match that confidence. I'm glad I got to know him...
He'll be dearly missed & remembered fondly. My heart goes out to you for your loss. Although no words can really help to ease the pain you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. Love to you all.
