CHRISTOPHER LIKES Obituary

Christopher Kenneth Likes, 62, resident of Orange City, Florida, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. Christopher owned an Accounting firm where he was a practicing CPA for 35 years. He was also an adjunct professor at Stetson University's Business School, and served on the Board of Daytona State College. He and Buster, his faithful, friendly Boxer, were a familiar sight walking downtown DeLand during office breaks. His dream was to sail around the world in his recently renovated Alberg 37. He leaves his beloved wife of 26 years, Eneida; his mother, Nancy Bitner; his sister Nancy Likes Fritz; a daughter, Nancy Camille Vitale; a son, Travis Hunter Likes; a step-son, Armando Rivas and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at St Barnabas Episcopal Church in DeLand. Donations, in his memory, may be made to: Halifax Hospice of Volusia, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129 or Journey's End Animal Sanctuary, P O Box 220163, Glenwood, FL 32722. Lankford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I will miss Christopher, his warm smile and his eagerness to laugh. He was so diligent and conscientious in his work. My prayers for God's comfort and healing are with Eneida and his family.
