David Lally

David Lally, 64, of Stuart, Florida, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 comfortably at his home with his family after fighting a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born on April 17, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Robert and Rose Lally, deceased. David retired from Philadelphia Fire Department after 16 years of employment. He resided in South Jersey for 5 years before relocating to Palm Coast, FL for the last 20 years. During his time in Palm Coast, he was employed by Mantanza Golf Course then the city of Palm Coast as an Equipment Operator and also a part time associate at Wal Mart for over 15 years. He is survived by his loving wife Janet of Stuart, FL. Most proud of his son Sgt. Scott Lally of the West Palm Beach Police Department. His exceptional daughter-in-law Mary and his beautiful granddaughter, Ava, who knew him as "Poppy". Brother Bobby, sisters Debby and Beth and several nieces and nephews. Throughout his journey Dave had an "extended family" of friends and relatives. To know him was to love him. A Celebration of his Life will take place Sunday, March 22nd at 2pm at the Lally's residence, 377 SE Paysage Trail, Stuart, FL 34997. (Tres Belle).
