EDITH SPRAKER Obituary

Edith Spraker, 81, of Palm Coast, FL passed away July 25, 2011 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach, FL. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 7pm at the the Palm Coast Community Church, 1 Pine Lakes Blvd., Palm Coast, FL. All arrangements are under the direct supervision of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast, FL. Edith was born in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was raised in Wayne, PA where she graduated from Radnor High School. Edith spent her years raising her family and caring for her husband. She moved to Florida in 1983 and to Palm Coast, Florida in 2008. Edith became a very proud member of the Palm Coast Community Church. She was an active participant in Bible study and a member of the Keystone Club of Pennsylvania. She will be remembered for her love of cooking and being a genuine caretaker. Edith enjoyed her time reading mystery novels and watching court TV. Edith was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, James, on January 30, 2011; brothers, William Pomante and Dominic Pomante; sisters, Mary Burkey and Angie Pacitti. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Chanda of Palm Coast, FL.; brother, Armand Pomante of Pennsylvania; sisters, Jean Roscioli of Pennsylvania, Delores Pomante of Pennsylvania, and Ann Paparo and her husband Samuel of Florida. She was also the loving grandmother of two grandchildren, James and Heather, both of Florida. Donations in Edith's name may be made to The Palm Coast Community Church.
