Everett Jackson Obituary

The Jackson family is saddened to announce the passing of Everett H. Jackson. Everett was a devoted husband to his wife, Monica, for almost sixty years. He is survived by Monica and their four children, Shirley Skidmore, Wayne Jackson Sr., Monica MacDonald and Bradley Jackson; eight Grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Everett was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1928. He joined the United States Navy in the midst of World War II and shipped out to Great Britain where he met his British sweetheart, Monica. They married there, and she gave birth to their first two children. Shortly thereafter, they returned back to Massachusetts where they soon settled down in Milford. Everett became an accomplished auto mechanic, auto body repairman and a machinist. He used his skills to open his own auto repair business which he operated for many years on Haven Street in Milford. He and Monica were avid motorcycle riders. They traveled throughout the states on their bikes and were members of the "Royal T Motorcycle Club of Worcester", the "Rose Bay Riders" and the "Retreads." Everett was a man of impeccable character and had a very strong work ethic. He was deeply devoted to his wife and family, and we will all miss him immensely. There will be a private memorial service held in Upton, Massachusetts.

Dear Monica,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Everett was one of the first to take me under his wing when I first stared riding in Florida. You know you are both close to my heart always! Love, Sue

We are sorry for your loss. Everett will always have a special place in our memories. One of those is of him as the "little guy" who showed "big" Mack how to get his GOLD wing on the center stand.

Dear Monica and the entire Jackson Family,

Everett was such a sweet and quiet man that I am honored to have met. My sister, Tricia, thought the world of him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
