HUMPHREY MORRISON Obituary

Humphrey "Hutch" Morrison, 90, of Palm Coast passed away March 15, 2013. Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 from 2-4pm with a 3pm Prayer Service at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11am at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast. Hutch was born in Brooklyn, NY, the only child of Humphrey and Emily Morrison. He joined the US Army Air Corp and served his country during World War II in England from 1942-45. Hutch married Mary Donlon, the love of his life for 67 years. They started their family of 4 children, moving to Hollis, Long Island, and then to Framingham, MA. Hutch worked for the financial industry, overseeing the building of banks. They vacationed in West Harwich, Cape Cod and Palm Coast, FL. In 1989, Hutch and Mary retired and moved to Palm Coast, so Hutch could play golf all the time. He played at Cranberry Valley in MA and at Pine Lakes in Palm Coast through his 88th year. Hutch was also a talented artist, working primarily in oils and pastels. Hutch and Mary enjoyed traveling throughout the US and Europe. They especially loved a trip on the Delta Queen. Hutch is survived by his loving wife, Mary; sons: Kevin John Morrison (Debra) of Hopedale, MA, Jeffrey Michael Morrison (Heidi) of Palm Coast; daughter Christine Mary Morrison of East Hampton, MA; daughter-in-law Christine Clark Morrison of VA; grandson Brian Morrison (Kimberly) of MA and great-grandson Luke John Morrison. Hutch was predeceased by his parents and his son Stephen James Morrison. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
