ISAAC BOSTIC Obituary
Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, FL. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29th beginning at 11am at Bethel AME Church (719 Reid Street in Palatka, FL) with the funeral service to follow at 1pm. Interment to immediately follow at Pattersonville Cemetery in East Palatka, FL. All arrangements are under the careful direction of the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW, Palm Coast FL. Isaac was born in St. Augustine, FL and lived his entire life in East Palatka, FL until retiring to Palm Coast in 1998. He graduated from Central Academy High School (Class of 1949), Palatka, FL and went on to earn his Bachelors from Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, FL. Isaac worked as a teacher in the Putnam County School System for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a very active member of the Payne Chapel & Bethel AME Churches. He will be remembered for his love of gardening, football, and cooking. Isaac is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Alzie (Davis) of Palm Coast, FL; one son, Isaac H. Bostic Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Margaret Bostic of East Palatka, FL; two grandsons, Jerod Bostic of Atlanta, GA and Isaac III of Jacksonville, FL; nephews, Christopher Bostic and Corey Daniels (East Palatka, FL); devoted sisters-in-law, Kizzie Barksdale (Palm Coast, FL) and Bertha (Warren) Easton (Tallahassee, FL); dependable friends, Johnny & Gladys Spann (Palm Coast, FL), John & Loretta Bolling (East Palatka, FL); and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Donations in Isaac's name may be made to Florida Hospital Hospice Care, 770 W. Granada Blvd., Ste 304, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www. Mr B was my drivers Ed and Science teacher in the early 70 at CCHS, he was a hoot. We had the best time in Drivers Ed. My Prayers and thought are with his Family.
