James Gallimore Obituary


James T. Gallimore a wonderful husband and father was born on January 23, 1933. He was a graduate of Rockwell High School in 1951. Jim played semi-pro baseball in the Atlanta, Georgia area for two years. Jim served in the Air Force from 1953 until being honorably discharged in 1957. Jim married his wife Rita Foisy April 6th, 1957. They spent 56 wonderful years together. Jim began a Civil Service career with Patuxent River Naval Center as an electronic technician working on bomb navigation systems until 1966. Jim transferred to Naval Training Center Orlando where he worked in flight simulators until his retirement in 1988. Jim and Rita retired to the Ormond Beach area until he went to the Lord Sunday, January 19th, 2014. Jim is survived by his wife Rita. Jim had three children Jimmy Gallimore (deceased), Terry Gallimore, and Kim Krawczyk; two daughters-in-law Roberta Gallimore, and Rochelle Gallimore; seven grandchildren Melissa Gallimore, Kimberly Dye, Michael Gallimore, Ryan Thompson, John-Robert Krawczyk, Makayla Gallimore, Savannah Gallimore. The family requests no flowers. If desired you may make a donation in Jim's name to the St. Brendan scholarship fund. Services will be at St. Brendan Catholic Church Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd, Ormond Beach, Florida 32176.
