Joseph Williams Obituary

Joseph Emery Williams Jr. was born May 29, 1951 to Joseph Emery Williams Sr. & Mary Magdalene Johnson Harris (both deceased). He graduated from Volusia County Public Schools and joined the U.S. Army, where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Left to cherish his memories are: his wife: Mozella Gilbert Williams; Sons: Antuarn Williams (Pagette), DeLand; James Williams (Pamelyn), Jacksonville; Kelvin Williams I (Shenita), DeLand; Kejuan Williams Sr. (Trenesha), DeLand; 25 grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters: Ira Dell Anderson (Darrien), DeLand; Alfreda Walker and Rachel Bentley, both of Daytona Beach, Patricia Hamilton (Howard), Jacksonville and Gaynelle Harris, Seville; Mother-in-law: Doddnella Gilbert, DeLeon Springs; Sisters-in-law: Nellie Parham (Ike), Tampa; Susie Weathers-Bobbett, Atlanta, GA; Lois Howell Lake Wales and Thelma Johnson, Jacksonville; Brothers-in-law: Elder Johnny Gilbert, Orlando; Nathaniel Gilbert and Harry Gilbert (Cassandra), of DeLeon Springs; Reverend Lorenzo Lane (Ann), DeLand and Daryl Badger (Faye), DeLeon Springs; Goddaughter: Raquel Ingram and Godson: Daryl Badger; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held today (Friday) from 4pm to 7pm at Cusack Mortuary. The Celebration of Life will be held 3pm Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 410 East Webb Street, DeLeon Springs, Reverend James L. Wilson, host pastor and Bishop Lawrence Ingram, officiating. Interment will follow the services at DeLeon Springs Cemetery.
