Michael J. Castaldo

Michael J. Castaldo, age 86, passed away August 1, 2015.He was under the care of Halifax Hospice. He was born in Garwood, New Jersey on August 31, 1928 to the late Anthony and Mary Castaldo (Romano). Michael and wife Ann moved to Ormond By The Sea in 1992, and were members of St. Brendan's Catholic Church. He was a United States Army veteran and worked for the U.S Postal Service for 38 years. Michael enjoyed spending time with family, golfing, bowling and watching football. He also liked to travel and visit casinos, where he liked to play poker. Michael is preceded in death by his loving wife Ann, who passed away in January 27, 2009, they were married 49 years. He is survived by his daughter Michele Castaldo and Louann Milkiewicz; son Louis Alt; sister, Mary Castaldo, also left to cherish Michael's memory are four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and several niece's and nephew's. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Ormond By The Sea, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00am.
