Philip Agrella Obituary

Philip Thomas Agrella, 75, went home to be with the Lord and his beloved MaryLou on his birthday, March 30, 2015. Phil was born in Ishpeming, Michigan, to Italian immigrant father, Americo, and Finish mother, Sylvia, in 1940, and was blessed to be Dad to Theresa, Carmen, Michelle, Teena, Ken, Louise, Mary Jane, and Doris. Phil worked for Dominicks Fine Foods as truck driver for 32 years in the Chicago area, and recently built a home in Ormond Beach to be near his Florida family. Phil loved laughing with his family, playing basketball with his friends at the Cypress rec center and meeting up with friends at Dunkin Donuts. Phil is survived by his brother Ray Agrella (Chicago), eight children, dozens of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren who will all dearly miss him. Arrangements are being handled by Freidrich-Jones, Naperville, Illinois.

Carmen and family, Phil was such a special man. It was a pleasure to share conversation and memories with him. He was a warrior through and through and an inspiration to us all. I personally already miss him terribly, and the staff and his friends here at Willow Pond do, too. Peace and blessings to all of you.
