Rearist Turner

DAYTONA BEACH - Rearist Antwan Smith Turner, 25, of Byron Avenue, a laborer, died Monday in DeLand as the result of a gunshot would. Mr. Turner, who attended Volusia County public schools, was born in Daytona Beach, and was a lifelong resident of Volusia County. He was member of Shade Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Rearist Jr., three daughters, Alexis, Shakyria and Shanyiha Turner, all of DeLand; his father, Charles II, Daytona Beach; his mother and stepfather, Tenita and Avriel Solomon, DeLand; three sisters, Ieshia Turner, Daytona Beach, and Tameika Birch and Daveyette Smith, both of DeLand; his paternal grandparents, Turner and Thomas Hymes, Daytona Beach, and Charles and Janice Turner, Lake Wales; and his maternal grandparents, Juanita Williams and Ralph Smith, both of Daytona Beach.
