Richard W. Moffitt Sr.

A Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Richard W. Moffitt Sr, 78, of Palm Coast, who passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 A.M at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, followed by Inurnment into the Columbarium of the Church. Family will be receiving guests from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. in the memorial room of the Church. Richard was born in Winston Salem, NC and moved to this area in 1993 from Birmingham, AL. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Italian American club in Palm Coast. Richard was an avid golfer, loved to sing, enjoyed photography, the constellations and art. He received his Bachelor's degree from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. Richard is survived by his son, Rick Moffitt Jr, of Birmingham AL, daughters, Karen Rowland and her husband, Bill of Helena, AL, Malinda Young of Palm Coast, FL, Wyndi Salvagio and her husband, Louis of Palm Coast, FL, grandchildren, Colin Young, Will Moffitt and Franco Salvagio, Mandii Erwin and her husband Andy, Katrina King and Caroline Moffitt. Great grandchildren, Jace King - Atchison, and Isaac and Ameila Irwin. Donations may be made in Richard's name to: American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association, PO Box 840692.
