Robert Boyett Obituary

Robert "Bob" James Boyett, age 75, of Ormond Beach, FL died October 6, 2016 following a 15 month battle with cancer. He was born in Caretta, WV. on 10/26/40 and resided in the Daytona Beach area for the last 50 years. Bob worked in the construction and maintenance industries including many years at Halifax Lanes. His most recent employment was at the Volusia Mall from 2010-2015. Bob was an avid bowler and a huge Miami Dolphin and Florida Gator fan. He had a love for old western movies and a collection that rivaled any video store. Anyone that new Bob will tell you that he was an incredibly sweet guy who was always smiling, and rarely seen without a baseball cap. He was a loving father to his surviving daughter, Leslie Robin Scott of Mesa, AZ. and a proud grandfather to three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Other survivors include his sister, Dottie Rumer of Charlotte, NC. who cared for him during the last months of his illness, brother-in-law Jim Scott, and numerous nieces and nephews. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
