Ronald L. Masiello

Memorial service for Ronald L. Masiello, 70, Flagler Beach, who passed away Monday, May 21, 2007, at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast, will be held Friday, May 25, at 3 p.m. at the Fellowship of Believers Church, 103 N. Bay St., Bunnell, FL 32110 with Pastor Jo Nelson officiating. Ronald was born August 4, 1936, in New Haven, Conn. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division stationed in Ft. Bragg, N.C. Ronald worked as a tractor trailer driver for Stop & Shop, retiring in 1998 after 32 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 443, a former member and usher at the Whitney Christian Life Center, and a member and usher at the Fellowship of Believers Church in Bunnell. Ronald was an avid wood-worker, an excellent craftsman, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the beach. He also enjoyed whitewater rafting, skydiving and paragliding. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Masiello, Flagler Beach. Additional survivors include his daughter, Laurie Masiello, Branford, Conn; his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and MaryEllen Masiello, East Haven, Conn.; his granddaughter, Kirstyn Masiello, East Haven, Conn.; and his many nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Louis Masiello; and his sister, Shirley Marangelli.
