ROSS EVANS Obituary

Ross D. Evans, age 21, met an untimely death on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Born May 9, 1989, in Daytona Beach, FL to K.D. Evans and Leslie Evans (now Leslie Alexander). Ross graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School and continued his education at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, but soon moved on to Boston, MA to follow his dreams and where, over one year later, he passed on in tragedy. Ross will be especially remembered by his quick wit, spirit of adventure, an incredibly intelligent brain and the tenaciousness that allowed him to achieve top rankings in many diverse endeavors including the rank of Eagle in the BSA. Survivors include his Mothe, Leslie Alexander of New Smyrna Beach; his Father, K.D. Evans of Big Rapids, Michigan; his Step-Father, Jack Alexander of New Smyrna Beach; two Step-Sisters, Kelsey and Kaitlin Alexander of New Smyrna Beach; his maternal Grandparents, Tom and Wilma Tucker of New Smyrna Beach; his fraternal Grandparents, Ross and Juanita Evans of Big Rapids, Michigan; and his Step-Grandparents, Roger and Peggy Alexander of Berkeley Springs, WV. Also joining us in our grief are numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many dear friends. In lieu of formal traditional services, A Day of Remembrance will be held at the Alexander residence of 1517 Live Oak Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168, between the hours of 12pm and 5pm, Saturday, Jan. 15. Relatives and friends are welcome at any time during this reception of casual form.
