Sad to lose a fun guy like Steve. My prayers for Travis. Steve was always kind and considerate to my mother Carole Merritt at the farm in Pierson on Lake Disston, where was caretaker when he worked for Rinker. Many a day he spent on the lake fishing with this patient man.

Big Steve was a good friend and a coworker of mine at Microflex for about 5 yearsAnd I miss him each and every dayThis was a man that would give you the shirt off his backIf he thought it would help you .I'll never forget a saying he used to say to me all the time,I would ask him how are you doing today big SteveAnd his reply would be"Don't worry about me I'm a tough old bird"Big Steve you will be missed by everyone you ever touched.

Holly,
So very sad to hear about Steve. I will always cherish the memories from the old neighborhood of Ormond by the Sea of Steve ( we always said that was a fun neighborhood ) sitting in my backyard talking/laughing, having a few beers and a cigar while the dogs played . Or fishing the surf, and the many games of golf. Steve always had that incrediable smirky smile and always loved to experience life with zest that made me honored to experience with him.
And he always stated you added that spark and zest to his life above all!!
All my prayers to you.
