Sue Moore

Sue Moore, 94, of Daytona Beach, FL, died on September 25, 2014, in Bonita Springs, FL. She was born in Livingston, KY, and is the daughter of the late Leonard and Anna Medlock. She came to this area from Huntington, WV in 1981 following her husband's retirement from Huntington Alloys, Inc. After graduation from Marshall University in 1942, Sue became an active member in the Marshall University Alumni Association. An elder in the First Presbyterian Church in Huntington, WV, she was the vice president of the Family Services Association and president of CONTACT, a teleministry organization. In addition, she was also a long-time member of Guyan Country Club in Huntington, WV, and an avid golfer. While in Daytona Beach, FL, she was a Deacon at the Southminster Presbyterian Church and a member of Pelican Bay Country Club. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bill Moore; a son John Moore and his wife, Cindy of Bonita Springs, FL; a daughter Carole and her late husband Joe "B" Crisostomo of Barri-gada, Guam; a son Greg Moore and his wife Kim of Findlay, OH; 12 grandchildren to include Kelley and David Johnson of Monrovia, CA, Chad and Judy Esposito of Elon, NC, Brittany and Tyler Moore of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Morgan and Meagan Crisostomo of Barrigada, Guam, Chad and Shannon Kerner of Massillon, OH, and Mandy and Drew Pelger of Canton, OH; eight great grandchildren to include Kaylee and David Johnson, Ben and Patrick Esposito, Kyle and Caleb Kerner, and Brynn and Connor Pelger; a sister Berenice Moate of Charlotte, NC; and a brother-in-law Don Molenda of Naples, FL. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, FL, at 11am on Friday, October 3, 2014. Members of the family will receive friends at the Pelican Nest Country Club during a celebration of her life immediately following the Memorial Service.
