SUSAN D. BECK

Susan D. Beck, 52, of Daytona Beach, went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 29th, 2011. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Saturday May 7th, 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. Susan was born on October 31st, 1958 in Daytona Beach to Shirley Roberson and George Murrell. She was a graduate of Warner Christian Academy. Following high school Susan married Kerry Beck in October of 1978. Susan and Kerry met at church and their shared faith was the foundation of their strong love. Susan worked at First Union Bank as a Customer Service Representative and Loan Officer during her 23 years of service. Susan was a kind hearted, gentle person, with an infectious smile and laughter. Her devotion to her family and faith helped Susan stay strong in her many years of struggle. Susan was a hero in the eyes of her family. Through the pain she faced Susan never complained and remained optimistic. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her beloved husband of 32 years Kerry Beck; mother Shirley (Bob) Roberson; father George (Kate) Murrell; sister Beth Roberson; brothers Jeff (Susan) Murrell, Trevor (Kathy) Roberson, Bob (Anita) Roberson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly, and a multitude of friends.
