Vincent Julius Obituary
lius, he was a native of South Bronx, NY. He was a graduate of Metropolitan Vocational High School of Bronx, NY. He was a former Marine engineer and a U.S. Postal Clerk. SSG Julius was a honorably discharged World War II Army veteran. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (Asher Tribe) of Palm Coast and served in the Security Ministry. Capt. Julius was a member of the Vulcan Society and a founding member of the International Association of Black Professional Fire Fighters (IABPFF) and FDNY retirees (Central FL Division). He was a mentor at Bunnell Elementary School and served on the Board of Directors, African-American Cultural Society. He was an avid photographer. His wife of 65 years Martha Lucille Julius, and only son, Vincent, Jr. preceded him in eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his memories: devoted godson, Kenneth Martin; 3 grandchildren, Silver Rene, Vincent Rashard and Shomarie Julius; one great-granddaughter, Lisa Rochelle Julius; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016. Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Pine Lakes Parkway South, Palm Coast, Reverend Edwin Coffie, Pastor is the Eulogist. Julius Family condolences may be sent to: www.flaggserenitychapel.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Karl N. Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel, 2400 Madison Street, Palatka, FL.
