Charlene Tittle Obituary

Charlene Estalea Tittle, 53, of Benton Harbor, died Monday, August 21, 2006, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, Mich. Charlene was born April 14, 1953, in Mansfield, Missouri, to Roy and Gertie (Snow) Burris. She grew up on the family farm in Hartville, Missouri. On August 20, 1973, she married Martin C. Tittle, Jr., in Springfield, Missouri. Charlene is survived by her husband, Martin; her son, Martin of Benton Harbor, Mich.; daughter, Melissa (Richard) Ward, of Benton Harbor; grandchildren, Angela and Austin Ward; sisters Ceola (Danny) Jordan of Ozark, Mo., and Bonnie Stivers, of Sedalia, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral home, 2650 Niles Rd., with Rev. Billy Long officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family.
