I also grew up watching this man race at our dirt track here in Springfield. He raced with my father ( Bill Conn ). Great memories, Rest in Peace Don.

I was 10 years younger than Don, and lusted over his black 50's Olds 88's...Loved watching him race at the Fairgrounds!

I grew up watching this man race at the Fairgrounds, He was one of my Friday night hero's along with Bud Martin, and Larry Phillips. I suppose that their will be racing in Heaven again among those Spartan's of the Raceways. I'll be listening for Bob Brown to calling the race.
