Doris Salkil Obituary
Doris L. Salkil, 85, Mt. Vernon, MO passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO.
She was born March 23, 1927 in Stewart, TN to Grundy and Ceclia (Pitt) Rainwater.
Doris was a homemaker.
Survivors include her two daughters; Linda Hines and Patty Wilson and husband Jeff, four grandchildren; Yvette, Mark , Samantha and Chris, her great grandchildren; Lacey, Josey, Jesse, Jacob, Joshua, Cody, Ashley, Christopher, Gianna, two great-great grandchildren; Presley and Parker, also surviving is one nephew Gary Karnaghon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd Salkil, two brothers; Charles and Malcolm, one sister; Geraldine, and two grandchildren; Craig and Michelle.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at a memorial visitation on Friday, January 11, 2013 in the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
