Gary Louton Obituary

Gary W. Louton

Gary W. Louton, 56, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013. He was born July 29, 1957, in Hot Springs, AR, to Merrill and Emma (Sipe) Louton. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by sister, Janet Benson, and nephew, Josh Benson.

Gary leaves behind two children; daughter, Tansey Crum and husband, Jeremy, Oklahoma City, OK; and son, PFC William Layne Louton, Ft. Bliss, TX; grandchildren, Skylar and Kolby Crum; three brothers, Larry Louton, HI; Eric Louton and wife, Leigh, Hot Springs, AR; Eddie Louton and wife, Kate, VA; sister, Erin Baber and husband, Chris; uncle, Jimmy Louton and wife, Nina, Hot Springs, AR; beloved cousins, Glena Kornbau and Helen Kornbau; and many nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by dear friend, Lori Stogsdill, and special friends, Loretta Louton Gunter and Rose Gunter. Gary was employed as branch manager at Independent Electric in Springfield, MO. A private committal service with full military honors will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Gary's memory to Hospice Compassus, in care of Walnut Lawn Funeral Home.
