Jan King

A Celebration of Life for Jan King, age 64 of Walnut Shade, MO. will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 729 Newport Road, Walnut Shade, MO. 65771 with Pastor Gene France officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.

She died at 09:15AM, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born on March 21, 1950 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of John Hardin, Jr. and Martha Mae Hardin. She was an administrator at the Career Center in Branson. She was a former employee of the Branson Chamber of Commerce and the state of Missouri. She had been a resident of the area for the past 23 years.

She is survived by her son, Nathan King of Walnut Shade, MO., two siblings; Cindy France of Hollister, MO., and Jimmy Hardin of Alton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mike King and her sister, Melissa Hardin.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, 330 N. Jefferson Suite B, Springfield, MO. 65806.
