Paul Friend Obituary
Paul Finis Friend, age 84, of Greenfield, MO passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the First Christian Church, 409 College St. Greenfield, MO 65661. Private family burial to follow in Daughtery Cemetery, South Greenfield, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Friend Bridge Memorial Fund c/o Liberty Bank, Greenfield, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, MO 660-885-2021.

Definitely my favorite uncle. I am so glad that I helped him plant his garden before I left for California. We had a great chat, filled with tall tales and bragging about my girls, and all his grandchildren. He had a humor that was contagious and a laugh that touched the heart. He was a great father, and a good man. I will miss him. I loved him and love the family he left behind. I will keep all the stories and laughter close to my heart always. My thoughts are with you all as you brave this challenge. God Speed

Without a doubt, my favorite relative. I am so glad I helped him plant his garden before I left for California. We had a wonderful visit. Telling tall tales and bragging about my girls. Love you Paul. Love to all his family. He was a remarkable man.

My heart goes out to all my family, and friends of my Uncle Paul. I will remember him with great love and respect. It is only with a broken heart that it becomes open to receive the love and support offered. Praying all in need feel their hearts fill with loving memories. This earth will miss you Uncle Paul, as will I.
