Richard Reynolds Obituary

Richard Dean "Rick" "Bear" Reynolds, age 56, of Nixa, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006, in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born April 1, 1950, in Springfield. He graduated from Hillcrest High School, and served his country in the U.S. Army. On December 20, 1978, he and Karen Kristine Curtman were united in marriage. He had been employed by Don Wessel Honda for the past 23 years, presently as Assistant Sales Manager. Rick was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Nixa, and a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield, where he served as Greeter. Survivors include: The love of his life, his wife, Kristy four children, Scott Reynolds and wife, Jennifer, Germany, Mark Reynolds and fiancee, Nikki, Nixa, Marisa Wren and husband, Christopher, Clever, and Mandy Metzker and husband, Zeek, Nixa 11 grandchildren, Breanna, Samantha, Skyler, Cameron, Ashleigh, Alyson, Brennah, Luke, Jackson, Nicholas, and Seth his father, C. Les Reynolds and wife, Sandy, Nixa a brother, Mike Reynolds, Louisiana a sister, Cindy Gardner, Nixa his mother-in-law, Donna Curtman, Springfield two brothers-in-law, David Curtman, Springfield, and Jeff Curtman, Clever a sister-in-law, Julia Woodall and husband, Dan, Battlefield other family members too numerous to mention and his beloved dog, Riley Dean. He also leaves behind a family of wonderful friends at Don Wessel Honda. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol (Burrows) Reynolds, an aunt, Kay Bauer, and a nephew, Brandon Reynolds. He was the most loved son, husband, father, papa, and friend anyone could ever ask for. Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 17, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Phil Brucks officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. "Daddy, we love you all the muches in the world."
